About the Artist(s)
Eustina Runganga sells sustainably made, hand-knitted animals and toys. She lives and works from Imizamo Yethu (a township in Cape Town) and produces top-class products! There are no chemicals used in any of her products and they are made from pure cotton. It takes her about a day to produce one of her small toys. She is currently selling on the side of the road in Hout Bay, but really struggled when COVID-19 hit and the streets were empty. By ordering online, you would really be making her life a lot easier so she can stay home and make her products rather than be on the hot streets. In winter her sales are also a lot less frequent, and not to mention when it rains. She has two friends helping her out too, who also depend on her income.
